Early stirring. (welcome quiet before heading off to speak at #artifactconf today) @ James v Turner… http://t.co/VFR9JXGmix
-
@ArleyM @brundle_fly Hey, it's a good book! (but really, point is to actually read something to get a feel for if the type is working well)
-
@jonathanstark interesting... haven't had much time to play but do have a few thoughts on that, fittext & viewport width relating to type
-
@hellofisher I'll get up there as fast as I can! Not sure what time I'll get wrapped up @ ARTIFACT but am heading up from there directly

@putneydm thankfully browsers have gotten much more even in implementation/performance (oddly it was Safari that was the worst last year)
-
.@putneydm it's a fine line to be sure. noticed but not feeling sluggish. but you have to code it properly so it's intentional, not buggy!

RT @brad_frost: @vlh's talk on CSS animation is fantastic. You should buy her short, helpful book on the topic: http://t.co/yHRPi4BBJh #art…
-
fantastic talk by @jameswillweb on building an open web. we are the builders; it's up to us to make it so. #artifactconf Thanks James!
-
@dannychapman @cluxmoore @artinruins @adarowski vw/vh units look great for layout, but have (IMO) few good applications for type.
-
-
And what's one of the only design elements consistent across every platform & device? Typography! :) #artifactconf

-
Web isn't a platform-it's a continuum: you may not get 100% of the exp, but it's highly unlikely you'll end up w/0% - @adactio #artifactconf
