@csskarma if you look at zen-grids, the pattern there is padding inside layout containers - works nicely to scale gutters w/text size
-
@csskarma DEF. want to use EM for that padding, not PX (it will render differently on desktop vs small screen devices)
-
@csskarma (that was re: horizontal) for vertical, I always use EMs (help preserve some semblance of vertical rhythm)
-
@csskarma generally no for margins (will affect layout) but padding can work nicely (will scale w/type rather than compressing too much)
-
@csskarma @IanoftheFuture Totally forgot about the DOM traversing code in those fossilized paramecium they found in France. Good catch. :P
-
ITS ON. So far @karissawingate & @chrisonagan have solid entries, but there's WAY more wacky type in NYC than that! Tweet on #FOWD friends!
-
@IanoftheFuture NICE! I only went back ~30,000 years in mine last year :P
-
@vlh on my way down! just popping in for the day. Saw LOADS of tweets about your talk yesterday - well done! (tho not unexpected) :)

So the new Calendar in Yosemite highlights 'today' by reversing the date inside a red circle. Just like a notification. Doesn't seem right.
