Are you currently collecting analytics on your site (Google or otherwise). If so, we’d we’d like access to this information.

New Website

Please identify three over-arching goals for your future website. Such as: market services, develop customer base, build better local findability through apps and social media, etc.

What’s the first thing you want visitors to know about your company/business when they visit your site?

Please list the names of 3-5 other sites (of any kind) that you like for their aesthetics or functionality. Why are they attractive to you? (These do not have to be competitor sites)

Are there specific competitor websites that you find successful? If so, please describe for each site the specific features that hold appeal. For example: use of photography, exemplary design, ease in navigating, etc.

Please let us know if there are any sites that you do not like. What is it that you dislike or feel is not effective?

Is there a new site plan in place or in development? (Even if it’s on a napkin!) Or is it the expectation that a revised site plan will emerge from this Discovery process?

Are there current internal systems used for managing work and client information that we should be made aware of? Are there plans for new systems?

Opportunities for integration between internal data systems and web form data rely on a multitude of variables. Given this qualifier, are you looking to integrate these systems on some level with the new design?

In addition to your responses to the above questions, we will need the following materials in order to successfully complete the Discovery phase:

An inventory of any existing style guide, color palette/pantone colors, logo files and guidelines and supporting fonts. You can upload to the ‘Files’ section on our Basecamp site.
